Why choose between Work and Travel… when you can have both? Flexpat unites passionate remote working professionals who are determined to explore the world without compromising on their career. Our programs let you experience culturally rich yet absolutely different from one another locations. During each trip, Flexpat takes care of all logistics, provides you with personal and professional development opportunities, and acts like a glue holding our community together.
For our community, we look for remote working professionals, who bring something unique to the table in terms of personality, skills, or network. We generally tip the scales in favor of open-minded, spontaneous people who want to have fun and build lasting relations. We welcome you at Flexpat - whether you have a full- or part-time job, whether you’re a freelancer, a (fledgling) entrepreneur, or you’re currently in a transition point in your life!
It’s on you to bring good mood and your best jokes. Other than that, we’ve included the best of the best services for Work & Travel enthusiasts:
We want to give you the freedom to build your program to your liking, which is why we haven’t included the following:
Yes. We do see Work & Travel as a lifestyle, which is why you are expected to work during the four months of the program. It doesn’t have to be a full-time employment - freelance work, a part-time job, or a personal project would do.
Not a problem at all. Companies like PWC, Dell, Apple, Salesforce, and many more all provide remote working opportunities to their staff. Actually, going remote helps companies to increase the productivity of their employees, their employer brand scores, and decrease their overhead costs. Do you currently have office-bound job which could be done remotely? We can help you discuss it with your management, just let us know!
Absolutely. Flexpat has already partners with companies such as MGT, Startup.house, CRI, Mashkor, Hal24K, and Mahlzeit. Feel free to reach out to email@example.com and discuss the benefits of a partnership.
Visa requirements are entirely dependent on your country of citizenship. A useful resource for determining your visa requirements is www.visahq.com/citizens. During the program selection process, we will discuss any visa requirement applicable to your specific case.
Our flexpats come from all over the world and have different needs when they arrive (such as a multiple-entry visa, so that they can cross borders during the program). Since the visas are not consistent among all participants, we ask each flexpat to handle their own visa(s).
While you don’t have to be fluent in English to join us, we do expect you to have basic English conversational skills. That way, you can enjoy and engage with the Flexpat community to the fullest!
Those who travel together, stay together… or so we hear. Bring your girlfriends, boyfriends, friends, grandparents, and great grandparents! As long as they also work for the duration of the program, we’d be more than happy to meet them.
Get ready to have the best time of your life, working and traveling the world with around 20 like-minds. We think this is the perfect group size, as you can explore the cities, have fun and work together, while keeping human connections meaningful.
